Wanted List of EOKA fighters (Terrorists for the british army) – In the Cyprus Emergency from 1955-9 the British Army was called upon to undertake Internal Security duties. Soldiers were given wall posters showing photographs of suspects of EOKA – Cypriot Fighters, to place on public wall areas all over Cyprus. Rewards were given for any information led to the capture of any EOKA fighters, arms, guns, etc.

There is evidence of 3 big similar wall posters 2 issued in 1956 and this last in 1957. the difference is the X marks on wanted men that have been captured and the amound of rewards given.

i purchased this rarity many years ago , from the guy who printed these for the british army and kept one as a souvenier.

The poster is in gem condition because it was kept well all these years..

No other example exists in such a good condition! Rare & Unique!!
